Help
Just edge joined some cherry boards for some panels yesterday and overnight they have bowed consideralby. I finished the rough cut lumber to final size over several weeks and the finished boards did not show any sign of warpage at all.
I glued them up and left them clamped for approx. an hour and then laid them flat in my basement on the finished floor ( not on concrete) to fully cure. Both panels have cupped upwards away from the floor so I can only assume that he floor is the problem although I have done it in the past with no issues.
Anything I can do to salvage these, suggestions to eliminate problem in the future
thanks

dear Freezing,
I make it a habit to be very careful about panels like this. Either laid flat on horses, with stickers between every layer so they are completely aired, or sometimes standing upright, but always stickered to insure air flow all around every panel.

Freeze,
Sounds like they took moisture from the damp floor, or lost it into the dry air of the shop. Either way, try flipping them to reverse their position from last nite, and leave them overnite again. Then, as suggested, store so air can freely circulate around them.
