I used Watco Teak oil Finish on the mahogany of our front door. The mahogany I purchased to frame the door in is a deeper red then the door itself. Can a pigment be added to Watco Teak Oil so I can match the door to the mahogany of the surround? I can’t seem to find a Watco home page that has a customer service link or phone number. I think Watco was bought by someone else.

How about bleaching the frame? Maybe that would lighten it enough to match?
You can add oil based pigment stain to Watco. Have you looked at the Watco colors yet? They have a number of colors, one of which may work.
There is little or no difference between Watco Danish Oil and Watco Teak Oil. Both are oil/varnish finishes that have little durability outdoors. On boats, their teak oil required recoating every three to six months.
our front door.. I have made ALOT of doors... If you want to keep it looking nice.. Have something above it that keeps the rain AND SUN off of it.. Usually the bottoms get all messed up! Sun and rain can mess up anything! Paint is the best for protection but not as Classic!
Thanks for your response. The door is protected by a porch and faces away from the prevailing winds.
Thanks again
