   Neat design! Where is the center of gravity?

   Center of gravity is directly below the rear "leg". Base weighs approximately 300lb.

   Rough shape with the band saw, then i put it in a jig for the shaper. once I had all the pieces cut I laminated them together and started to sculpt the overall shape. bulk material was removed with a kutzall disc on a grinder, changed to spokeshaves and rasps for the finishing.

   Really nice. Very "modern" feel with the contrasting coloration. That looks like it was a lot of fun. Great approach on the joining of the two part base. Rock solid.

   Yes it is 31" tall. 8' x 4'
