Does anyone know of a website for Exactor sliding tables? I’ve tried the google thing to no avail. Thanks.

Alan,
Try "Excalibur" - you will get tons of hits.

I think its http://www.exaktortools.com
I'm a bit confused (normal state of mind for me). What is the relationship between Excalibur and Exaktor? And by the way, thanks for the Exactor spelling. I had it wrong, that's why google wasn't showing me anything. (Although the Exactor website seems to be down) Thanks for your responses. Sorry for the confusion. I wasn't aware of the Exaktor sliding table, just the Excalibur. Looks like they have similar pricing. Excalibur certainly has wider distribution (incl. Amazon) but that doesn't necessarily mean it's better.
I've got an Exactor sliding table. It's the smaller unit, the EX26. I installed it on my Powermatic 66 last fall. I love this thing. It works very well. Very consistently accurate once you get it set up. It does need the occasional minor tweaking to keep it cutting completely square. From what I could tell Exactor sliding tables are just a small step up in quality from Excalibur. But I do have one gripe with Exactor. I wanted an extra fence, so that I could have one set up to use at the front of the saw and one for cutting wider stock at the back of the saw. I ordered the extra fence from Exactor, and it took me almost three months of phone calls to fine out where my fence was. They repeatedly kept losing my order, or didn't seem to know what parts made up the fence system. When it finally arrived, some parts were missing, which started another round of phone calls, lost invoice, etc. to get the remaining parts. I'm so frustrated with them I was ready to toss the whole thing out and get an Excalibur. But other than that very trying experience, everything else about the unit has been great.Ralf
