Picked up my usual run of rehabbed sawblades at the Jensen family’s Shelton Saw Works down at Shelton the other day and Kathy Jensen pulls a Lenox handsaw out from under the counter as a holiday gift.
Nice folks, and I was surprised…bet I don’t do 500 bucks a business a year there. They do everything from handsaws and planer blades to Simpson and Weyerhauser’s biggest.
Used to do my own 22″ Lucas blades until I discovered Kathy will do them for 15 bucks…and properly…I get the tips right but I sure don’t hammer the warped ones true like they do.

Wow, cool! BTW, I didn't know there was a good sharpening service so close to home! Do they do a good job on good ol' 10" ATB's and such?

Yup....in the Shelton Port facility at the airport above the fairgrounds. They'll do anything you take in there, I believe.
