tell us more and any pictures . learning curve? how long? set up? pppllleeeaaaassseee more info... thanks bear"expectations are premeditated resentments"
OK :-)
I am sorry my last reply was so short, (my wife had a job for me to do.)
Again it is a great mechine! its pretty stright forward, the mechine can plane wood flat, it has a templet follower built in. an index gear (so work can be locked into place) for flat, square, round... basicly any shape. there are 7 gears to make 19 different pitches.
thay give away a cd on there web site. its realy good. it explains the basic mechine and gives four projects to see a little of what can be done. its like a minni N.Y. Workshop. LOTS OF FUN TO WATCH.
I like the lenght my mechine can turn.mine is the mid range unit. I can turn 60"L by 10"w or flat work 12" by 60" But thay sell others units that can go up to 12 feet long and I think 16"wide. its new, (ive only seen it on there web) but I do have a frind how has a 80" modle, He has turned colloms for his house and lots of stuff I would never even try.
There is a learning curve, but its a lot easer to use, (and safer) than many of my other wood working tools.
I would recemend it!
gota go.
sincerly. C.A.G.

Phil B,
Beautiful web pages...filled with great info...thanks for sharing.
PS. you may want to correct the web link..tiny error
Can`t get it to open
Like your web site ,but have a problem with the copy on the Studley tool chest .Wasn't he a piano maker? Hence his tool chest now resides in a piano and organ museum in the midwest
