I am a new woodworker and want to purchase a new tablesaw and was wondering what brand I should purchase. I have a limited budget to spend. Thanks for responding.

Can't be very specific until we know what the budget is and what the intended use will be.
If you do a search, you'll find this is a very popular question.
Thanks for your response. I did a search and found more information. Thanks again.
Hi Gregg - As Wooden Splinter pointed out, the responses will change significantly depending on your budget.
Rather than seeking a specific brand, I'd determine what features you want and what you want to do with the saw, then set out to find one that suits your needs. There are several classifications of saw. Once you've narrowed the field then you can select the best brand and deal from the short list. As long as you stay with known brands, and try to avoid off names, you should be fine.
Most wwer's agree that the TS is the heart of the shop, and many will recommend buying the best quality saw you can afford....and then stretch some! Think long term value. Used is often a viable option.
About all I can say to your response is "Ditto." Much better answer than mine. Thanks.
