Jeff,

Meiner Meinung nach ist so eine Wünsche ganz rühmlich: viel besser bei Freunden und Familien zu feiern!!

Bei mir sind grammatischen Fehlern unwichtig: mein Grammatik ist (auch) schlimm!

We trained hard, but it seemed that every time we were beginning to form up into teams, we would be reorganized. I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganizing; and a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while producing confusion, inefficiency, and demoralization.

Thanks. His 1yr tour started 10/6. It's going to be a long while before he's back at Ft. Richardson freezing his a*s off.

Of all the wishes possible, I hope that yours, above all else, is granted. A speedy and safe return.
Happy Holidays,
Jeff
I'll go with your's. Good luck to your son and God Bless and keep him safe.
John, I'd be happy for you to get your Christmas present, it's more valuable than anything I can think of.
My son is all of 2 1/2 years now and is playing with foamie rockets in the living room, I cant imagine what it would be like to see him go across the world to fight for a year.
Have a merry Christmas, and thank you for your tag line, I have been looking for that one for a couple of years now.

James: This year we are donating to charities instead of giving "things". I've sent some to the USO and Maria is sending her gift check to the place (can't remember the name) that houses families of wounded soldiers near the hospital so they can stay close. I've so many toys and tools, a good car; don't really need any more.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Godspeed to your Son. Duke

While I would like to see about 150,000 US troops come home (unrealistic, I haven't been that good a boy), I really hope that 3,000 families can find peace and solace for their extreme loss. I hope that all our troops, wherever stationed, can find some moments of peace, and hope for their future.
right now I'd settle for work days that last 48 hours (but feel like 8) and days off that last 96 hours each...
failing that... I'd settle for some peace n quiet....
