For those of you that subscribe to woodworkingathome, has something happened to their site? I just tried to go to their site www.woodworkingathome.com and it fails now. I had noticed I had not received a dvd issue in a while and assumed I had just let my sub lapse. I was going to go renew and pick up any missing issues. Now that the site is inaccessable, did they fold? I see older issues on the woodworking channel. Chris Dehut if you are watching, what happened?
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it.
And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

I don't know them, but it appears DNS can't resolve the name, but their registration is still active. Look at this URL for contact info:

Dont know why it happened, but they are indeed gone.
Went to their site shortly after the meltdown and there was a message thanking everyone for their support and selling off all the remaining stock of DVD's.
It was a bit hokey, and Dick Sing never seemed comfortable in front of the camera, but I enjoyed them. Still thinking about making the storage cabinets he had.

Yep, thats a shame. He was woking on a shop built CNC machine, and was close to a set of plans, but with work, I had dropped off the radar for a while. I was noticing the other day I had not received an issue for a while. Hate they are gone. I liked the concept. Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Thanks for the note. Its sad for sure. I spoke to Chris on several occasions and the concept was a good one. Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
