I got this chuck from an estate sale, and most of the stuff there was woodworking stuff, so I figured this was the place to help determine what it is or what equipment it was/is used on. The chuck is in real good shape and I was planning on removing it and mounting it on an arbor that would fit my equipment. It has what looks like a bayonet mount on the back.

Hi, Pwofford!
That's a keyless drill press chuck and it probably was a part of a drill.

Thank you for your response....but I was wondering what system/drill press it was associated with. It seems to have a bayonet mount at the top, with a very thin engagement spindle.
