What is this tool? Some sort of saw
Was just wondering what you guys thought this was? The saw pivots into the cut by rotating the handle on top. There is what seems to be some sort of dado cut in the base to ride on something. What is this?

Soundslooks like a jamb saw, but the big arbor nut does away with that idea.
There used to be a company that made a panel saw of sorts. Basically you build your own table and mount their guide and it had that saw that ran on the guide. Haven't seen one in years but as soon as I saw the picture I knew what it was. Can't recall the maker but they didn't last too long in business. I believe you could also dado with it. I think you might find an ad in an old FWW on the company. It's missing the guard in the photo.

A high-speed, motor-operated, finger removal device?
Shish that thing looks dangerous!
