I attached some photos of sections of my front screen door that I stripped of paint. The door is original to my 1930s Chicago-area Tudor (Craftsman) house. I am hoping the wood is mahogany since there are other houses in the area with mahogany storm doors . Please let me know if you can identify the wood from the pictures or if you have suggestions as far as how I could identify the wood myself.

I'd feel bad if I didn't mention the high probability of lead paint on an original door so it's worth taking care.
Thanks to everybody who replied. As far as lead paint, I only sanded the two small areas in the photos. I’ll either use chemical stripper if I do it myself or have the whole thing dipped.
