What to do with a $150 gift cert?
Happy Holidays to you all!! I have a craftsman table saw, not sure the model but pretty nice. It game with a miter gauge as you would suspect. It is rather small and I am not sure how accurate. I have a gift cert. to Woodcraft and I was looking through the store wondering what to purchase. I saw some nice miter gauges on sale from $100 – $200 and tons of other stuff that I could use. A wheel grinder maybe, a sander attachment for my drill press, router bits, sander paper, books from the Taunton Press, clamps etc. So the question is what do you think?
I am leaning towards the miter gauge because I think I would prefer knowing that whenever I need to use it, I know the cuts will be much more accurate than they are now. Its a confidence thing? Does this make sense? Your opinions are valued.
Thanks and may your stockings be filled with gift certificates too, so that you may experience the same confusion.

WC carries the Incra 1000SE. That's worthy of some serious consideration.
I agree with the miter gauge purchase. I was seriously broke when I forked out for the Incra 1000 several years ago, killed me to spend the money, but it was the best thing! Once I got it set up and started using it, any uncertainty about the decision was gone. Brought my attention to how quickly accuracy-improving tools pay off.
I'm not sure what Woodcraft carries in that price range for miter gauges, but the Incra 1000SE would be on my list for sure.
