Hello all –
I am heading to NY City July26-Aug2 and I am wondering what woodworking related thing I should do while there. I am looking for shows, galleries, and exhibit kinds of events. Thanks for any advice.

Go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and you’ll see some amazing collections of furniture.
As for shopping, we don’t have much woodworking related. We don’t even have a Rockler or Woodcraft within a 100 miles. There’s Tools for Working Wood in Brooklyn but it’s not much to look at in person (though I buy frequently from them online).
Thanks for that. Yes, I was looking more like shows, galleries, and exhibit kinds of events.
the frank lloyd wright room in the metropolitan museum is among my favorites.
