Hi all since someone brought up Carhartts. I am looking for an alternative to them. Up here in Vancouver we have basically one choice. Has any one here worn Roundhouse bibs. They seem to look good and the price is great. Or do anyone here recommend any other brands

Timberland just came out with a line of Timberland Pro work clothing. See attached web site on there clothing. Maybe you can call to see who sells in your area, or buy on line direct. Good luck.

My theory is: don't skimp on something you will spend a LOT of time in. Clothing, boots, gloves, etc. Find something you like, and has a great reputation, and you can always order online or by mail. Are you looking for winter gear?
I wear bibs all year round. I want to find info on the various other brands. I am just not happy with carhartt as they only last 6 months. at close to 100 a pair canadian money. I can buy from the US many brands and pay duty shipping etc and still come out cheaper.
Not bibs, but I love my Lee Valley "supplication pants". (They have built-in knee pads ;-) )
I have worn Skillers for 20 some years, solely because they are the only pants I have found that have built in pockets for removable knee pads. They wear like iron, and all my jeans wearing friends think they look dorky -- but my knees whisper a quiet thanks every time I go down to the floor.

However, even though I read the Lee Valley catalog regularly, I have never seen the "supplication pants" you mention. Are they included on the LV web site? If so, could you post the link (to the pants, not the site).
thanks..............
