My wife’s vanity mirror with original ivory escutcheon has slowly deteriorated and needs reglueing back into place. Whilst that is easy I wondered if there was any preferential glue that I should use.
I don’t want to go rushing in with superglue so just thought it might be prudent to ask the question here first?
thanks Stuart

That looks like a job for a 5 min epoxy. It has reasonable working time, but more importantly good gap filling abilities which look like will be required.
I’d go with super glue. You can also use nail polish remover to clean up any reverse mistakes to degree. Just a tiny dab should do. Use a sewing needle or something similar to apply.
