   The multirouter is one. Also the Grizzly G-0540 has been used as a slot mortiser. Laguna sells the mortiser off the combo machines as well, around $650, you provide a router or you could mount a jackshaft and motor as it comes with a mortising chuck. You will have to call as it isn't shown on the website. FWW had a simple one someone made in the Tools and Shops issue. Also FWW # 141 had a slick one using drawer slides. Rojek makes one priced around $1,600 and the numbers go up from there for commercial ones like Paolini, Holz, Knapp, Bini, etc. I've used all types of mortisers from chisel, cahinsaw types, Maka and find the horizontal slot mortiser perfect for production and one off custom furniture plus it doubles as a doweling machine.

   A good old router and jigs..  Sorry, really, I just had to!
