Epoxy with a customised pot life that suits your taste.
I have only used Titebond II for out door projects (above ground) and several have been in the back yard for 4 years and so far there are no glue line fractures and these tables, stands, chairs sit out of doors all year round in the harsh Ohio weather. Thus I don't see a problem with using Titebond II. The gorilla glue might work also but it is more expensive.
Just me so...
I used Gorilla Glue on a laminated Bow just to see what would happen..
Worked fine! Well, bow didden't break! Bit messy though!
Titebond II - a lot less mess than gorilla glue. I doubt the wood will outlast either glue. At least, none of us will be around to find out.

Thanks everyone,
I think I'll pass on the gorilla glue - too messy. I've used titebond II for lots of things and it hasn't let me down.
