When laminating 2″x3″ togther on surface to build square piece of wood
Due to lack of equipment, capability and resources, I need a piece of wood that can be built with laminating a few 2″x3″ together along surface. I was going to clamp and glue and followup with dowel and pay attention of grain.
Can I just clamp the piece together and let the glue set and follow up with dowel or would it be best to install the dowel as it dries?
Can someone point me to good laminating resources? I am not sure what is a good resource or not for this yet since I am just starting practicing laminating.

There is really no need for dowels. Glue and clamp. When the glue sets, it's already stronger than the wood itself.
