   Dave..........

   I like the idea of centering the lights above each door .......but keep them pulled forward............you want to light the front of the contents thru the glass shelves......not backlight them..........

   If the doors are wide enought, then install two lights near the front. Use a touch control wired to an exposed hinge to switch the lights. If hidden hinges add a metal screw in a hidden area to control the lights.
