Hi,
I am looking for Flamed Birch. Do you know any good places I could get it from? I am in Houston, TX and will use UPS if necessary.
Thanks,
Cedar

Cesar,
You did not indicate how much or what you want to use it for. Not that it really matters. Just as info. Flame birch tends to be unstable when used for larger projects.
Try Lou Irion at Irion Lumber in Wellsboro, PA. He has a web site plus advertises in FWW. He carries it in small quantities when available. I believe he has a 100 BF minimum on orders. That pretty much will eliminate UPS. Still you might check if this is within your parameters.
*Groff & Groff Lumber has Flame Birch for sale. They are an excellent company to order from. They have no minimum order, and in my experience, they work to accommodate special requests.
*Try http://www.curlymaple.com. They have no minimum order. If you only need a board or two, they will EMail photos of individual boards so you can see exactly what you're buying!
