Where to find Federal Style inlay patterns?
I have always loved Federal Style furniture. I’m mostly interested in various leg inlay and banding patterns but I haven’t had any luck finding much online. I don’t necessarily have to have a fully dimensioned pattern, but I would like to be able to see the inlay in scale so I could figure dimensions with an eye to reproduction.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
TIA,

American Furniture: the Federal Period by Charles Montgomery, has several pages of color photos of various fugural and banding inlays. It has recently been reprinted, so finding a copy might not be too difficult, or you can try an interlibrary loan if your local library doesn't have a copy.

Thanks Ray. I found a good used copy at Amazon for $18 and change .. can't beat that! I appreciate the pointer.
