   Hi Eric,

   Go to http://www.google.com and do a search. I typed in magazine rack plans and got  a bunch of hits ... same thing for ottoman plans. Somewhere you'll find a link that tickles your fancy.

   In addition, if you Google the Rec.Woodworking newsgroup, you'll find hundreds of free plans. There's a regular on that newsgroup (nickname JOAT) that has been posting links to plans for years.

   Vast projects should not be founded on half vast ideas.

   I have been doing the same thing and found a nice site, armorplans.com. There are some pretty cool projects there.
