where to get brass and bronze for planes

I just recieved my issue of tools and shops,and wow do I enjoy it. I have one question though, and hoped someone out there could answer it for me.Where do these craftsman that make these beautiful planes get their brass and bronze billets and sheets? I would love to try my hand at making a simple plane,but Ijust don’t where to get the brass and bronze. Thanks to all who reply.

I have had great luck with this online company. They will sell in any quantity.They are also happy to answer questions over the phone. I have never bought brass for planes but they might be able to help you with what type, grade, etc. They really have been a super company for me.
