Hi to All,
I actually have questions on two topics: bandsaw blades and sanding discs/belts.
First, for those in posession of the Grizzly G0555 bandsaw, which aftermarket blades to you find perform the best given your tasks at hand?
Second, for those who use a benchtop disc/belt sander, which grits of sanding discs and belts to you most often use? What brand do you find performs the best for the money?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions/insights.

Timber Wolf blades from Suffolk Machinery, low-tension and great on these small saws. Call them for recommendation on what to get for your first shipment. I use them on a Grizzly 1019Z, they cut super-well, no blade drift and customer service is excellent.
Try Klingspor for sanding discs, belts, etc. They make great paper, and their "Klingspor Gold" is super-nice. New catalog just came today.

I totally agree with Forest Girl about Timberwolf Blades. I bought a 1/4" and 1/2" for a new Fisch 16" Bandsaw and they work great. The 1/4" leaves a kerf that requires almost no sanding. Company service is also good from the below link:

I just use Lennox I get by really well
Forestgirl is right about Timberwolf blades. HOWEVER... I live quite close to Armor Crafts. They carry Olsen blades. These blades are good, inexpensive, and most important, instant purchase... no waiting, no postage etc. Timberwolf is the Rolls Royce of blades while Olsen and several others are the Lexus of blades. I found the Delta blades at Home despot and the blades at Sears to be very poor quality. (yes, Grizzly 555 bandsaw)
I use both a 6 x 48 and a 4 x 36 belt sander. Most of my belts are inexpensive ones as I use them to quickly shape wood. Mostly 80 and 120 grit stuff with an occasional finer belt to rough-sharpen some tools. There are two different types of belts... butt joint and overlap joint. The butt joint belts can be 'reversed' for more use where the overlap ones can not be reversed. Some say the tape reinforcing on the butt joint style does not run as smoothly, but I see no real difference in the two styles. A quick pass with a cleaning block and they're ready for more work. If you use lighter pressure on the belts they tend to stay cleaner longer. SawdustSteve
I don't know about other brands, but the Timberwolf is very good.
