I returned a PC because it won't sink the pin below the surface. Wanted to use it for edgbanding but if it won't bury the pin what good is it. There is no depth adjustment it's controlled by pressure.

I had the same problem, you can fix it by grinding down the nose of the pinner allowing the drive hammer end to go below the surface. My pinner nose was about 1/32 longer than the drive hammer length so that at full drive depth you could never get the pin set below the surface. I ground the nose so that the drive hammer end now goes about 1/32 beyond the nose. Now, the pin seats below the surface every time.
there one out there called pr 28 omer shoots 5/8"-1 1/8" it's a handy little tool. but it's got a 280.00 rice tag on it i've used it in the shop i work in. with ample power, i ordered from a guy called hank komell from rego park , new york. a place called select machinery inc...... good luck..... bear
I'm not sure which one is the best, but Accuset has got to be one of the worst tools in my shop----Early on it started jamming and got no help from Senco by phone & since it was made by Senco, I hadn't bothered to register the warrantee. I have replaced the pin driver twice -- metal too soft & becomes deformed causing the jamming. If you do use one, DO NOT even think about setting the 1" pins--you can get by using the shorter pins, but they also will cause problems. Senco also markets a pinner in their Senco brand for more money--my experience with Senco branded products has been excellent -- which led me to buy the Accuset---BIG mistake
I have the Senco brand pinner and it is just as bad, will not get another Senco.

Are you in Japan like perhaps your handle implies? If so, Kanematu makes a nice one. I've been using it for a while and it comes in handy.

A matter of opinion in some respects but the gun made by Josef Kihlberg is top notch and the most expensive. Swedish and somewhere around $600. I hear the Omer is good. I picked up the Senco Finish Pro 10 for $150 for light duty in our shop. Seems OK so far.
