I have an old (25 yrs) DeWalt 10″radial arm saw which is overdue for maintenence. I’m wondering which lubricant is best for the vertical column, the part that slides up and down inside the steel sleeve when the blade is cranked up or down. I’m thinking either white grease or spray lithium. Trying to find something will not attract too much dust.
Thanks Gary

Lithium grease on the upper carriage rollers and tracks Graphite on the column.
Steinmetz.
This isn't a wear item, so I wouldn't use any grease here. What you need to do is properly adjust the gibs so the vertical travel is smooth, but is tight enough that you don't get side-to-side slop.
"Trying to find something will not attract too much dust." Bike shops have options that meet that criterion.
