Which make of cordless circular saw?
Hey guys,
I’ve been thinking about getting a 6 1/2″ cordless circular saw. The question is which one is the one to get? DeWalt or Milwaukee? I’ve got various tools from both companies. I figure I might as well get one before the dumbed down versions hit the shelves, as most people think are going to happen. Any pros & cons are appreciably welcome!

My friend steve has the Bosch and I looked real close to the DeWalt and Rigid and I bought the Millwaulkee and have been more then glad I did . been using it for about 14 mos. and its a beautiful saw. everything is a little bit better like hight aujustment screws, the foot, the feel, its tough. and it cuts great. I almost never bring out my corded saw except when ive got lots of plywood to cut. I also have 5 batteries and 2 chargers because i have other mill- toole 18 volt, so I never run out of power . unless you have other tools and batteries to other brands theres no need to get anything else.

Thanks dogboy,
I've got a biscuit joiner from DeWalt along with their right angle cordless drill. As for Milwaukee I've got a Sawzall, 3/8" Hole Shooter, every Selfeed bit and all 17 of the spade bits. I think I'll probably wind up getting that cordless circular also. I'd also like to get another Sawzall, since my current one is about 15 years and I need the Allen wrench. I'm looking at getting their radio also!

Get the millwaulkee radio! I have it and it sounds great. My friend steve has the bosch and it has all the bells and whistles but the sound isnt as good , more so when you have it crankin. The millwaulkee sawszall with the quick release blade is good to.
you cant go wrong with big red.

I do also have some other tools , so im not only red, Ive got yellow and green and black and grey.
Hi dogboy,
From what I've read about the Bosch boombox, it's all bulletproof and stuff, but I'll go with Milwaukee's since it's more like what I need. Since I'm not hanging out at jobsites anymore, the radio in red is perfect for the shop and while I'm detailing the car! As for the Sawzall I like the fact I don't need to paranoid about the Allen wrench.
As for other tools, I've got 2 DeWalts, 3 Porter- Cables, and 1 Bosch. This is in addition to what I've already got in red!
