Which type of Satin Black Paint for a Computer Desk?
Hey all.
I’m ignorantly stupidly braindead when it comes to painting. I was wanting to know what type of paint I would need to make a satin black finish on a computer desk and hat type of primer would be best advised(if any)?
I plan on using birch wood to build the desk, but now I’m at the point of picking my paint.
Was wanting a finish much like the below

Spray paints, such as Krylon, are actually tinted lacquers. They work well for for what you are wanting to do as they apply pretty easily and are durable. I'd be far more comfortable using that as opposed to an oil based enamel. They are also now selling tinted primers, so you can prime and paint the desk in black.
Krylon does sell a satin finish.
Consider any school or working environment and look at their desks. You will witness the reality of time and how things have changed. You will not see any old fashioned desks because they are part of the past. If you were to place them in any contemporary office, you will quickly see how they spoil the whole environment. Yes, believe it or not, a desk can have a great impact on your performance since it can actually define your work environment.
This is where black desks are of great use. It is not because black is a great color - it also adds a lot of "power" to any environment. If you have any doubts on that fact, then try changing a few of your furniture to black and then witness the change for yourself. If you want to buy black desk, i will tell you How to Select the Best Black Desk at the other website. you just visit this site : black desk
