I’m getting white spots when using my sprayer. I’m relatively new to spraying and have only ever used water based finishes through the gun, latex paint and polycrylic. In the pictures below I was spraying a door that had been primed with a latex primer. I assume it’s some sort of contamination problem but I’m perplexed as to where it is coming from.

I would think there is still some primer hidden in your sprayer. Time for a thorough cleaning.
Just guessing. It appears to me like something got splattered onto the primer before the finish coat was applied. The spots could be some product like soap or something else that repels the paint. Or, it could be some product with silicone in it (a cleaning product or polishing product of some sort).
