Delta is a division of P-C (happened a few months ago)
Thanks!
Delta and PC are both owned by Pentair, I believe...They are essentially very very similar. Thought it happened a few years ago, but I don't know.
You are correct, Pentair does own both Porter-Cable, Delta, DeVilbiss compressors and Oldham Saws. A couple of years ago they closed the Delta warehouse in Memphis, Tenn. and opened one distribution center in Jackson. I believe that they combined USA manufacturing plants for both Delta in Pittsburg and Porter Cable in Jackson into one location.
The Sicilian
Pentair owns Oldham saw blades and router bits? That surprises me...I've had good luck with Oldham, and not with PC or Delta.
The saws are made in Taiwan, Delta has a plant there.
Just a note, I believe Delta tools come with standare 2 year warrantee while Porter Cable has a 1 year.
