I’ve totally restored a type 11 number 3C that I bought from a member of Taunton. It looks quite nice if I do say so myself (I’ll probably post some pics tomorrow) and would really like some before pics. If this seller could contact me even if it’s just to let me know he doesn’t have the pictures anymore. Just post here. Thanks.

I found him, I found him!!!! Paging ctsjr82, could ctsjr82 please come to the front.
I have his email address, will send him an alert.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Thanks forestgirl. You're the person I beat out of one of the planes aren't you? lol
I dunno. I've been doin' good, so no sweat. Tom helped me out with a blade and frog for my Bedrock. Friend sent me a Stanley #4 when he couldn't stand the thought of me using a Sargent. Other 2 planes do a fine job. I'm not competitive about this stuff -- it'll come to me when it does.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Good to hear!
Hey RyanI'm just back from a youth mission trip. I'll look in my photo files and see what I've got. How about an "after" photo? Blessings, Tom."Notice that at no time do my fingers leave my hand"
Thanks a million. I started a thread about and here are the pics http://s179.photobucket.com/albums/w289/Ryan-Cathey/Type%2011/
Excellent job. Excellent pictures.
Thanks Bartee.
I thought of some stuff that might help. It had a tall knob with a big chip out of the bottom, it was very rusty, it had some sort of caulk like substance on the bed, it's corrugated, and the tote had sapwood at the bottom. Hope that helps you find a pic. Thanks again.
