In the June issue of Fine Woodworking there is a article on I’pe lumber by Jon Arno with a picture of a Adirondack chair. Does anyone know where I can get the plans for that same chair? I have seen many plans for different chairs but not as nice as that one. In the fine print on the bottom of the article it says that the photos where from SKC Ltd. so I Emailed them and they had no idea. Can somebody help me?

Sock66,
Anatole Burkin (our executive editor) made that chair and unfortunately the people who produced the plans went out of business. However, if you look in issue 136, there is similar chair and general dimensions.
Good luck.

Issue 52 of American Woodworker (around April 1996) has a great adirondack chair plan. I made a couple of them and they were well received.
