   I'd bet dollars to donuts it's a browser issue. I generally use Opera but I have to switch to Explorer to upload attachments.

   What browser are you using?

   assuming you have hit the 'attach files'  button at the bottom of the reply screen,  used the 'browse' button to find your images,  and clicked on 'upload';  you may not be waiting long enough before you click the 'done' button - - after I click 'upload', there is no indication anything is happening,  but:  the file is being transfered and if you try to do anything else while it is working (bring up another screen to read news,  for instance) it interups the process - in other words,  once you hit 'upload',  sit quietly,  breathe lightly,  allow your eyes to glaze over, allow your mind to wander (but don't let it bump the computer) and wait for the upload button to change color - - then click 'done'...

   In my case, I don't HAVE an "attach" button; maybe I was bad and they took it away.  I'm sure I used to have one.

   I think it is the security that came with the computer.

   It's Mc caffee and I've heard Norton's the way to go.

   Stupid security is as bad as none sometimes.

   now that sounds like a browser issue.  the despairo package has been configured to work with windoze products,  another step to world domination - - I don't know enough to be any help to you,  but if you go over to breaktime and contact Luka,  he can probably help you straighten it out.
