About 10 years ago I went to the Atlanta IWF tool show, looked at all the smaller (25 inch) wide belts. Everything was under power so I got a chance to test drive the Sunhill, Bridgewood and MiniMax SCMI machines. They all sanded good. I went with the Minimax since the overall workmanship was better, the motors and controls looked first class and it had a helical steel contact roller instead of a rubber one. At the time the MinMax was about $600 more than the others, I really like the machine, a friend of mine has a bridgewood and is very pleased with it as well.
