I am looking for a 20″ Wilh Putsch Bow Saw. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find one?
Also, I have heard that there is a Danish company that makes a good bow saw, but I have no idea who the manufacturer is.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Traditionalwoodworker.com has the 24" model. I bought it about a year ago and it's pretty nice, but the wingnut tensioner is annoying. To tighten the turning blade I have to use pliers. I've been meaning to replace it with a string and paddle. Looks pretty cool on the wall, too.
Thanks.
minnesota,i was in the same boat as you, looking desperately (and unsuccessfully) for the 20-inch Danish bowsaw mentioned in Anthony Guidice's book. i ended up getting the putsch saw from highland hardware and cutting the stretcher and 9-point blade down to twenty inches. put a radius on the cut end of the blade, drill a hole and you are done. however, if you do locate the 20-inch danish saw, please post where you found it. thanks, dave
