I am about to buy a Bench Dog 40-037 Complete Router Table System
….I’m wondering though what type of lift I can install in it. Am i limited to certain ones or is this something that is a universal fit, etc.?
I already have the Bosch 1617 EVSPK router and plan on using that in the table and lift.
I know that I will want to install a lift soon after buying the table and want to make sure that I will be able to install one of the better lifts in it.
Can anyone who has one of these please respond.
Thanks,
Erik.

The Bench Dog table takes a 8 1/4" X 11 3/4" lift. Most tables use the larger size lift which is 9 1/4" X 11 3/4". I have the Bench Dog lift and I highly recommend it. It is well built and uses a acme threaded rod for height adjustment. The best thing about the lift is the height adjusting setup. It is a pleasure to use and has a simple fool proof way to reset to zero. If you need to to change height up or down it is simple. You reset the indicator to zero then dial in your desired depth of cut.
Jessem makes a Mast-R-Lift with the small plate that will fit the Bench Dog table.

Why not buy the Benchdog lift, then you know that the fit will be perfect. The Benchdog lift has gotten good reviews and it is my personal favorite, though I also like the Jessem lifts.
