Are there any woodworkers/wheelwrights who have had any experiences of using a Williams & Hussey molder?
Does it work like an over head spindle molder?
Is it any good for shaping spokes (as in wooden wheels) which are oval in x-section?
I should be glad of any feedback, as I am considering purchasing one.

B&G, It is a simple moulding machine that works much like a planer. It has 2 knives bolted to a cutterhead, and two urethane infeed and outfeed rollers, all which are fully enclosed. Pretty much used for making small batches of moulding. One nice feature is the ellipse jig. It works remarkably well for such a simple machine and can make curved mouldings as small as 7" diameter. It needs to be hooked up to a good dust collector or you will jam the feed rollers. I think it does a great job for the money, however it is a little slow so I don't think it could be used to run a whole housefull of moulding.
