My windows computer crashed and I lost the FWW app. It was an icon the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
I also lost the link to the Dovetail class by Bob VanDyke. Can anyone help?
Thanks

Do a web search for "Dovetail class by Bob VanDyke".
Same for FWW app. It appears that it is available on Google Play.
Have you tried Linux?
Got the dovetail link thanks.
The Google Play FWW app only works on chromebook or android.
Is there an app for windows? There's a shortcut if you install the archive, but I thinks that's it.
I did not download the archive. lol, was going to say I wasn't sure what I had. Just accidently found it. On Edge the upper-right corner 3 dots has a pull-down menu. About 1/3 the way down the is a selection Apps.
Select that and it will guide you through the installation and place it on the taskbar.
hm that's weird I don't have this app on my machine. Is it a default one?
That's odd
Is it a default app?
It appears to be a hybrid app of some sort. It doesn't act like the FFW webpage. Someone who knows Edge explorer probably can answer your question better. To me it looks like Edge made FFW web page into an app.
When I originally clicked on the "app" asked if I wanted to install FFW app. It also asked if I wanted a desktop shortcut and if I wanted it pinned to the Task Bar.
While using it I found it doesn't appear in Edge's history, nor does it have they typical URL address in it. It also has app setting functions. The screenshot is from the app setting page. You can see the app on the taskbar.
Hopefully someone who has website/Edge knowledge will give a better answer.
