I’ve decided to take on a challenge and build a windsor chair so I’m trying to find out where I can find a good plan for them or an intro for modern woodworking techniques. You know not using hand tools. I’ve been looking for a while and can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. Hope you can help.

Bronzzy,
I actually just received the plans and video from NYW. I have not attempted to build it yet, but the drawings look pretty accurate. Price was approx. $45.00 with shipping. The video includes both episodes that were aired, nothing extra.
Hope this helps,
Dave
Hello Bronzzy------Drew Langsner from Marshall, NC put out a book on building windsor chairs which has several different chairs illustrated. He also offers full size plans. Drew also has a school called "Country Workshops" which you can look up on the web and get contact information etc.
Good luck with your endeavor-------I built my first one in 1996 and still doing it. It can become habit forming.
