I am looking for an online source for small wire brads. NOT the kind that look like small nails. I am looking for the tiny wire brads that have no head and can easily be broken off when the piece is secured. Anyone know a good source?

Try googling with 23 ga pins. I think this is what you are after

All I'm finding after
All I'm finding after googling are pins for nailers. The brads that I'm looking for are loose for hand nailing. Any other suggestions?
If you google for "wire brads" you'll find many suppliers of traditional loose wire brads. Brads do, however, have a slight bulbous head, similar to finish nails.

I found Gundlach Flooring & Gundlach Plumbing. No sign of wire brads at either. Can you provide more info? What city in Illinois? Do they have a website?

Thanks for the info. This is what I was looking for: 7/8" long and .036" diameter hardened headless steel brads at http://www.benojgundlachco.com. I appreciate that.
