Do you have to bend the wire before trying to fit it in the grooves? If so, what tool works best?
I did, it's most important on the tight curves. I did it just with some flat pliers (without the teeth). And cut them with some flush cutters. I wish I had taken the time to hammer the ends a bit thinner than the rest. I think that would have been nicer.
Very nice accent. I will keep this in mind when looking for accents for future work.
