I have a skylight about 44″ wide by 25″ wide over which I would like to put some louvered shutter. The slats would be about 3″ wide x 3/8″ thick, x ~ 44″ long.
What wood would be best for these louvers? Something that is light weight but won’t bow/bend. And should I use flat, quarter, or rift sawn wood?
