does anyone out there have much experience at making drawer slides for small drawers with stops? I’m trying my hand at jewelry boxes and am limited to hand tools at this time. I need to come up with a design that opperates smoothly and is not so obvious. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

You could make some miniature dust panels or thin dividers between the drawers that will serve as a kicker for the drawer below and support or a sliding surface for the drawer above ( well waxed with paraffin ) they will slide effortlessly .
When you say with stops , I guess you mean a kicker to prevent the drawer from tipping front down when open .
good luck hope this helps dusty
Small Drawer Slides
Why build small drawer slides when you can buy them from http://www.lairdproducts.com. Full extention solid wood in 6", 7", 8", 9", and 10" lengths.
Is your question regarding drawer slides, stops that prevent drawers from pulling out, stops that prevent drawers from going in too far, or a combination.
That hand tools are you comfortable with at this time?
