I recently acquired a 12″ Wood King Jointer made in Portland, Oregon.I can’t find any information about this company . If anyone has any information about this company or this jointer in particular I would appreciate any help. I repowered it with a 5 hp single phase motor since the new shop I’m building doesn’t have 3 phase power. It runs great but I’m a little concerned about the bearings since it has set up for quite some time. I would like to find a parts manuel on it if possible. Thanks again.

Bearings are almost always standard items, and once removed you, or a bearing shop, can find a good replacement. For that matter parts manuals seldom give actual bearing size or model, just a manufacturers part number.
Wood King jointer
I'm a little late to the party, but could help if you still have questions about your jointer. Feel free to send me an email.
In the meantime, this is the main information I know:
(1) Beaver Products Inc. produced two jointers, an 8-inch model J-18 as well as a 12-inch model J-12, both named Wood King.
(2) 1947 prices for these two machines were $485.00 and $685.00 respectively. Prices were to rise by six percent on 11/15/1947.
(3) Beaver Products, Inc, Designers and Manufacturers of Woodworking Equipment were headquartered at 1638 S. W. First Avenue, Portland 1, Oregon BEacon 8434.
