I’m looking for information on a specific brand of wood lathes. It’s an old cast iron variable speed “American Yates”. I’m looking for any kind of pricing information and if parts are available anymore if the machine breaks down. I think this is considered a vintage lathe. How much do you think it would cost? Any information would be helpful

Pam,
I think you mean Yates-American, which is a venerable old company. They produced a lot of industrial quality machines, many of which are still in use. Here's the link to the Old Woodworking Machines website, which has quite a bit of information on that line, including their lathe.
