Has anyone here used or had any first hand experiance with the Wood Rat? I’ve watched their video and I’m just not convinced that it is that good of a machine. Please give me any advice
Thanks, John.

Stephenson,
Hi, I am a Woodrat user. I have used Leigh, Trend and other jigs and can say that the Woodrat is without doubt the best all round joint maker you could buy. Its expensive but the quality of the joints produced is superb. The router bits from Woodrat are likewise excellent. Joints look close to hand cut not machine made.
The Woodrat is a bit quirky at first as you learn how to use it; but a few days practice and you will be amazed at how you pick it up.
Look at http://www.ukworkshop.co.uk and search for Woodrat.
