I inherited a number of rasps. How do I tell which are wood rasps and which are metal rasps?

The wood ones are much lighter and will burn. (sorry)
Rasps are for wood and have individual teeth stitched (raised) out of the tool body, either in regular patterns or a random pattern. Files are for metal and have linear teeth that are cut into the tool body either straight across or at an angle.. sometimes in a crossing pattern (double-cut) of multiple angles.
Files can also be used on wood. Using a rasp on metal will destroy it.
Didn't see that coming, good one.
Makes sense. Some are very old, some have beautiful handles. I've never used rasps in my woodworking but I'll start now.
Thanks.
I'm guessing that you might mean files, not rasps? Or maybe both? There's a big difference. Post some pictures if you can.
Haa, bad job by me, 5 min later I thought "they will float". Good luck with the new tools.
Pictures?
