Hello Fellow Woodworkers, Hobbyists, and Craftsmen,
My name is Peter and I am a transplanted Seattleite currently living in Melbourne Australia. My occupation is the same over here as it was at home– a carpenter. Carpentry is very similar to what I experienced at home but there is one area in my woodworking life where I could use some help. Specifically the home in which my wife and I live is a 115 year old brick Victorian home with wooden double hung windows. Rotten wooden double hung windows. To have them commercially made would exceed $1200.00 per window. Consequently I would like to rent shop space somewhere and I would like to build my own repalcement windows but I could use a book on making doors and windows and I have as yet not been able to source such a book. Could anyone in the audience suggest a title or source where I could find a book on this tipic?
Thank You,
Peterozrover
