Back in the early 1980’s I was a poor college student, so one christmas I bulit a few “mechancal banks” for Christmas presents. I believe the plans came fom Popular Mechanics if anyone has these plans or knows what issue the were in I would appreciate it.

Wooden Mechanical Banks
Hi. I don't know if you ever found the plans, but I was just searching for the same and found some in the January 1981 Popular Mechanics issue, page 94. books dot google dot com should bring up a page with the detailed plans
